Did you know that we all are blessed with the power to manifest and guide our destiny? Did you know that thoughts are so potent and is the potential energy that is needed to ultimately cause a kinetic action? The saying "Where thought goes, energy flows." says it all. Our thoughts are energy. Just as the Sun feeds the plants with its sheer light, our thoughts are what paint our outlook and feelings toward the world, others, and ourselves. It colors our world and how we see it, influencing how we respond (or react) to it all. It can be destructive, or it can be nourishing like the Sun... if we want it to be.
So how do we change our thoughts? Pretending that things are not the way they are can create more internal struggle. It is acknowledging the situation and letting go of the things that are not under your control so you can focus on what you need to do. It is by empowering yourself with the changes that you CAN influence... and the changes all first need to start from within.
Here are some ways to help change your thoughts for the better. These can also help clear your energetic field.
- Be aware of these thoughts. Awareness is powerful. Ask yourself where the self-talk is stemming from. Knowing can help direct you on to the path of change.
- Counting your blessings keep you in focus of the good things, be it small, that can be taken for granted in the day to day. You could be surprised just how much the “little things” can add up.
- Deep breathing helps to slow down heart rate, clear the mind, increase energy, detox the body, and lower blood pressure.
- Meditations connect mind and body. It helps increase self-awareness, lower stress, and can help quiet the mind. There are many different types of meditations to silence the mind chatter for everyone.
- Positive affirmations are words you say to yourself to reinforce a change.
These tools can be used one at a time, or all together. The more tools you have in your toolbox, the more tools your will have at your fingertips. These are also many other helpful tools you can use out there.
Now, I’d like to talk about ritual. Ritual can be as simple as taking 10 slow deep breaths upon awakening every day or taking a moment to give thanks before each meal. Performing ritual supports the foundation on which to build on what you are intending to manifest. Ritual not only creates stability, but brings together the mind, body, and spirit. It builds energy and positive momentum. This strengthens your connection to Source, through your Higher Self, even if you are not aware of it.
The physical act of doing the ritual, while holding a positive intention in your mind, aligns and elevates your energetic vibration, integrating you with your Higher Self. Your Higher Self is your true nature. It is the part of you that holds the highest good and sets the ego aside to live though the heart center. When you connect with your Higher Self, you will experience more synchronicities in your life because it is connected to Source, which is all knowing.
